On June 24, 2015 a Letter of Agreement was signed that will establish a new 401(k) plan just for pilots. This new plan is scheduled to go online at the beginning of November 2015, and will be similar to the former American all-employee 401(k) plan.
The new Pilot 401(k) Plan will feature a consolidated investment lineup that will have options for investors of all types, including customized target date funds and increased limits on brokerage account balances.
